Traditional knowledge and skills, crafts, custom practices and beliefs, recognized by communities in Serbia as markers of their identity and vital enough to survive to the present day, comprise the intangible cultural heritage of Serbia presented at the exhibition “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Serbia” at the Cultural Center of Serbia in Paris
The exhibition will present the elements of intangible cultural heritage of Serbia included in the National Register, as well as the heritage included in the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity – family slava, traditional folk dance - kolo and singing along gusle, showing the diversity of cultural heritage in the territory of Serbia and indicating that different communities living in the same cultural region are sharing some elements of their cultural heritage.
