The contribution of audiovisual productions to the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage

The Round table The contribution of audiovisual productions to the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage  is organized by the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade in cooperation with the Regional Centre for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in South-East Europe (Sofia, Bulgaria) and the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe (Venice).

After key-note presentations Nasko Kriznar „The contribution of audiovisual productions to the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage” and Vladimir Perovic, „The making of films on intangible cultural heritage: factual, creative and other challenges and good practices” the Round table discussion will be focused on the realization of a possible multinational audiovisual production on intangible cultural heritage. Visual anthropologists and experts for intangible cultural heritage from the region of Southeastern Europe will discuss possible themes, methodology and operative directions for the making of a documentary about crafts that are still present in different parts of this region.
